Kids Tea Party Invitation Template

Tea parties for birthdays are the favorite of many girls....

They are easy to organize and you don’t even need too many extra supplies.

This type of party is especially popular among girls up to 14.

This theme party can become a princess tea party, a fairy tea party and so on, depending on how you combine it with something else.

It can be even an Alice in Wonderland tea party, which kids love.

Kids Tea Party Birthday Invitations:

Invitations can be simple yet elegant: floral patterns in pink or pastel colors would fit perfectly. You can also choose Alice in Wonderland characters, such as the Mad Hatter and add such images to the invitations.

There are plenty of floral invitation templates that you can later edit and customize. When you choose the paper of the invitations, you should choose something glossy or cream colored. Some invitations also look good with a bit of a decoration, such as a small bow or ribbon or even tiny pearls.

2. Kids Tea Party Games:

Decorating cookies can be fun for a tea party activity: using different colored icing they can decorate each a batch and then bake it. You can prepare the dough before the party. This can also serve as a party favor that everybody can take home in the end. If the weather is nice, you can also have the party outside on the patio.

Another great activity for such a tea party is jewelry making: you can purchase a bunch of beads from a hobby store, some other craft supplies, and the girls can spend some time making their own jewelry such as bracelets and necklaces.
For smaller children you can also ask them to bring their teddy bears or other stuffed animals and you can have a tea party for everyone!

3. Kids Tea Party Supplies and Decorations

You can have this type of party in the living room. Since the center point of this party will be the table, you will need to make it look very beautiful and attractive. You will need pretty cups, tea pots, napkins, plates and flowers all around the table. You can buy a vintage tea cup set from a flea market or eBay for this purpose. You can use napkins with soft colors and flowers with matching colors. You can come up with the color of your choice, and organize everything accordingly. Roses and rose petals fit perfectly for such an occasion.

You don’t need costumes for this party, but you can provide various vintage dresses or simply just gloves and pearls and have some pink flowers that the girls can wear and put in their hair. You can find such supplies at your local thrift store.
If you choose a princess tea party, you can get supplies such as crowns made of paper, or if you choose a fairy tea party you can get wings for each little girl.

4. Kids Tea Party Food

Food is easy for such a party. Cookies and cupcakes with various types of tea should be enough. Mini muffins are the best choice. Make them look elegant: for example you can use pink toppings and pink fondant for each and colorful sugar as well. You can also serve some sandwiches and for snacks some fruit. Mini sandwiches served on stands fit to a tea party.

You can serve both ice tea and hot tea and have a box of various assortments so everybody can choose their favorite flavor. You can also serve hot chocolate for those who are not big fans of tea.

You can have some of the following flavors: green tea, fruit tea, herbal tea and various tea mixes as well. Make sure to help the children prepare and pour the tea, so nobody scalds themselves.
