Christmas Party Invitation Wording

I have spent some time on my desk thinking how to get a good idea for Christmas dinner invitation wording.

If you have decided to have a office Christmas party then you probably have had the same problem like me – getting good Christmas corporate invitation verses.

It is good if you can think of them on your own but most people actually cannot and they often give up.

I did not want to give up, so I asked a very good friend of mine for a help.

This is what she offered:

Christmas is time of reflection,
But it is also a time for family and friends.
And here at (company’s name)
We are all part of one big family united around our common goals.
So let’s celebrate this special time together,
This time far from our desks, computers and labs
At our Annual Christmas Party….

Some of my favorite Christmas verses that can be used both on invitations and on cards:

He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree. ~Roy L. Smith

The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. ~Burton Hillis

I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. ~Charles Dickens

Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas. ~Peg Bracken

Christmas Invitation Poems

Peace on Earth

“Peace on earth will come to stay,
When we live Christmas every day.”

Helen Steiner Rice, American Poetess, (1900 – 1981)

Merry Christmas my Friends
I hope it will fulfill most of your Big Dreams
And satisfy your smaller ones,
These everyday, sometimes banal
But also important expectations.

So let’s gather together
Joining warmness of our hearts
Bringing smiles on our faces
So we can enjoy every single day of our lives…

I always like it when I read a poem and it makes me think. So whenever I have to make invitations on my own I would prefer if there is a poem to be one which I really, really like.

Of course, I found a great source for poems last Christmas when I was looking for Christmas invitation poems on the internet. I found the site . It is amazing that everything is free but at the same time you get quality and you even get the chance to email them. The site is updated daily so you are also given a great variety of choice. I like it!

Wording For Christmas Party Invitations

Whenever a Christmas party is being held, the invitations are an important part of the entire ceremonial. You will need a design that will work with the kind of party you held, but, of the utmost importance, is the wording that you will place on your invitations. If your mind goes blank when you sit at the table and try to make something out, you have come to the right place – we showed you some wording samples for Christmas party invitations. There are certain things that must be contained in an invitations. Details such as the time when the party begins and who are the host are to be included.

But, besides these details, you will need to make some nice introductory phrases to let the people you invite to the party know that you appreciate them so much that you took the time to create some beautiful sentences, especially for the holidays. The spirit of holidays must be comprised in the wording for your invitation. For instance, you can remind the guests what is the occasion for which the party is being held.

“As the holy celebration of Christmas day approaches, we would like to invite all our friends to spend cherished moments under the Christmas tree”,

If the party you organize is a family and friends get together, some informal words will do just fine; for a more corporate event, an invitation like:

“Come celebrate with us the joy of Christmas; join us for a dancing event at … ”

and signed with the name of the company owners, is more suited. Send the invitations prior to Christmas eve, and let the guests be impressed with your handwriting skill.
